Reach Cyber Dual Enrollment Program
Dual Enrollment is a program at Reach Cyber Charter School that allows qualifying sophomores, juniors, and seniors to enroll in courses at community colleges, colleges, or universities, that have a Memorandum of Understanding with Reach, while still in high school. In accordance with requirements at Reach Cyber Charter School, students who qualify may apply for admission to a variety of courses. Upon successful completion of the college course, students will receive both high school credit and college credit. This is an attractive option for our PA online charter school students looking to get a jump start on their college career. Taking college courses while still in high school allows them to get ahead and get a better understanding of the topics before they enter college. Additionally, it enables students to explore a variety of topics before committing to a major, which can help them make more informed decisions about their future. It also prepares them for the rigors of college coursework by giving them an opportunity to experience a college-level workload while still in a supportive environment. Furthermore, taking college courses in high school can give students a competitive edge when applying for college, as they will already have a stronger academic record than those who did not take any college courses.
